You may have noticed that I didn’t include a single food or drink shot in yesterday’s post about New Orleans. That’s not because I didn’t take any. Ha, who do you think I am? No, it’s because I was saving the best for last! Enjoy this culinary photo essay of the trip:
Can you believe we ate and drank all of that in about 48 hours? Oy vey! We didn’t put a dent in the culinary options of the city, but here were the standouts:
- Coop’s Place (casual, neighborhood joint): 1109 Decatur St., coopsplace.net
- Mr. B’s (nice, but not stuffy, dinner): 201 Royal St., mrbsbistro.com
- French 75 (fancy cocktails and cigars*): 813 Rue Bienville, arnaudsrestaurant.com/french-75
*If you can’t stand the cigar smoke (I’m not judging, I had a terrible headache the next day), just pop into any old bar—off Bourbon Street—for an Abita!
