Fashion-A-Day Challenge: Day 22

Day22The Outfit
Shift dress: Loft
Necklace: Francesca’s
Belt: Forever 21
Shoes: Vince Camuto, Macy’s

Favorite Part
My mom bought me this dress for Easter—and it’s the right size and everything! It’s also really soft jersey and isn’t constricting like most shift dresses (though more casual, of course).

Damn, I need some sun on those legs! But I think this outfit is great. Love the pop of color on the black and white. I’m overjoyed that it’s finally nice enough to wear dresses! (Let’s hope it lasts…)

Fashion-A-Day Challenge: Day 21

Day21The Outfit
Tie-dye top: Lucky Brand, Macy’s
Pink jeans: Else, Macy’s
Flats: Michael Kors, Macy’s

Favorite Part
Either the hot pink jeans (so me!) or my NEW Michael Kors flats. I saw a need for navy shoes in my wardrobe, but I’m not going to lie—there are not many cute navy flats out there. These took a lot of looking and a little splurge (thanks for the Macy’s coupon, Mom!), but I think the patent leather coupled with the straw make these perfect for spring/summer.

This outfit isn’t as flattering as I’d hoped, but I still like it. Lucky Brand is usually a little hippie for me, but I thought this top was fun and different-looking from a lot of what’s out there right now.

Fashion-A-Day Challenge: Day 19

Day19The Outfit
Button-up: Target
Sweater: Charter Club, Macy’s
Black capris: Gap
Flats: Tory Burch
Necklace: Francesca’s

Favorite Part
The yellow statement necklace. I’m starting to like this mustard-y yellow more and more. I may even bring the color into my bedroom. (Stay tuned!)

After the jacket and heels of yesterday, I was feeling lazy today and just wanted to be comfortable. It shows. This outfit is acceptable but nothing great.

Fashion-A-Day Challenge: Day 18

Day18The Outfit
Graphic top: Dillard’s
Blazer: H&M
Black jeans: Else, Macy’s
Wedges: Target

Favorite Part
I don’t have a favorite piece (I like it all!), but I love how this outfit makes my legs look super long and skinny!

LOVE. There’s a girl at work that pulls off blazers all the time, and I’ve just never really embraced them—until now. (That said, I recommend spending more than $24.99 on one; this one proved just a little too tight and uncomfortable over time.) And I’ve owned this graphic top for years and never really knew how to wear it, but now I feel like I’ve figured it out: Break up the pattern, pair it with neutrals and go simple with the accessories. But let’s address what’s really important here—when is Dillard’s coming to Chicago?!

Fashion-A-Day Challenge: Day 17

Day17The Outfit
Grey tank: Loft
White tank: H&M
Cardigan: Ann Taylor Outlet
Black pants: Mossimo, Target
Flats: Tory Burch
Necklace: Francesca’s

Favorite Part
The statement necklace. It’s not often I incorporate a bit of punk rock in the wardrobe.

It could use some color. I wish I’d worn a hot pink tank underneath. Or mint would work too. This outfit makes me think of the adult version of a cavewoman costume my mom made when I was little. I’m just missing the Bam-Bam ponytail : )
